Gabriela International Productions History

Hello! My name is Gabriela Arslanoglu.

Many people wonder where I come from. I was born in the rain forest of Peru, South America, and later moved to Lima, capital of Peru.

My father, who was born in Peru, traveled all his life working for the government, that's how I was born in the Amazon Jungle. My mother's family came to Peru from Yugoslavia and Austria and they set up a textile business in the beautiful city of Cuzco near to Machu Picchu, the ancient city of the Incas.

I grew up learning the Textile Industry, meeting the real people who raised the animals and worked hard together for better opportunities, who are very artistic and creative showing their culture and tradition.

In 1984, I moved to The United States Kansas City, the heart of America.

In 2003, I was invited to participate in Mrs. Kansas with the title of Mrs. Kansas City and had the honor of receiving the Ambassador Award.

The same year I started my own company Gabriela International Productions, headquartered in Kansas City USA, an international independent productions company. A fashion entertainment oriented company promoting History, Culture and Tradition of different countries, showing textile and apparel industry effervescent fashion creativity by turning a millenary tradition into modern, glamorous and daring designs.

Gabriela International Productions provides opportunities such as mentoring, career training, schooling and internship.

We provide workshops, seminars of professional modeling, creating fashion show entertainment and modeling competition for new promising models in the fashion industry. We showcase new faces and new talents for the industry, and encourage them to reach their personal and professional goals in their lives. Through the inspirational guest speakers, we have been helping and educating our participants so that they may become good role models, successful business owners, and leaders in today's society.

Today, participants can be from anywhere, any look, any nationality, any ethnic background, and speak any language. Modeling experience is not necessary. No height requirements to participate. Participants may be of any marital status, and may have children.

Our mission is to showcase new talents for the fashion industry, and to encourage them to reach their personal and professional goals in life. I have sponsored and directed my winners to represent my organization in promotional campaigns, auditions, pageants, community service and humanitarian work.

In 2007, I formed a non-profit organization "InkaTurk" to support hospitals, homes for orphaned and abandoned children, and to provide educational programs for children and single mothers of low income and to help schools with educational training.

My mission is to support children of low income families in Peru by forging partnerships with other Non Profit Organizations.

The same year, I was invited to participate in supporting a charity event in Peru, where history, tradition and culture would co-mingle. The event, 'Peru Royal Tour", my first crossover presentation as a designer and entertainment producer, received attention for the originality and creativity of the event and my support to a non profit organization in Peru.

Our events are geared towards raising funds to help underprivileged children and families in Peru.

Our participants come to realize and appreciate our work and help us in spreading the word about our mission, and making a difference for a good cause.

We create fashion, queens and models for a good cause. We select titleholders to represent our organization in community service, community events, humanitarian work and national campaigns as good role models.

I invite top agencies to award our winners with modeling scholarships and contracts. I am very thankful and appreciative of working with top leading agencies. I promote the top agents through my events in giving back the appreciation for their great support and opportunities to all my participants through auditions and casting.

In 2008, I became the exclusive US representative/trademark owner of The International competition Model of The World, headquartered in Istanbul Turkey, well-known as "The Fashion Center of The World", to provide the opportunity to the right contestants who fit the qualifications to travel overseas to represent The United States of America. This enables me and my organization to provide more opportunities to our participants who are new promising models in the fashion industry.

I believe in giving back, appreciation, honesty, dedication, responsibility and hard work which all together pays back to the individual with great success in his/her life.
